Participants must be over the age of 18. This course is offered in Medford, OR. Contact our team to negotiate fees for class locations outside of Southern Oregon. Learning modules include 14 hours of classroom instruction delivered over 2 8-hour days with final written examination.
Our instructors reserve the right to refuse to allow completion of the course for individuals who are assessed during the course to be a safety risk to themselves or the public in the course of providing the services of an unarmed security professional.
Individuals with a history of convictions for domestic violence or felony charges, who are required to register as a sex offender under ORS 163A.010, 163A.015, 163A.020 or 163A.025, or who have been convicted of any of the charges listed in ORS 137.700 will not meet the moral fitness requirements for an unarmed security professional in the state of Oregon. Participants who are unlikely to receive their initial certification following a background check performed by OSP are encouraged to not apply or complete this training course.
