Unarmed Refresher Course | Oregon Security Professionals
Our instructors reserve the right to refuse to allow completion of the course for individuals who are assessed during the course to be a safety risk to themselves or the public in the course of providing the services of an unarmed security professional.
This 4-hour course will deliver not only the material required to qualify for recertification as an unarmed security professional in the state of Oregon, but also additional content on best practices and practical application based on the experience of our instructors in the field to optimize the performance of unarmed security professionals.

Oregon DPSST Beginners Certification Course | Unarmed Security Professionals
Over two 8-hour classroom days NWDA instructors will deliver the material required to certify as an unarmed security professional in the state of Oregon. Attendee’s will additionally benefit from best practices and practical application based on the experience of our instructors in the field.

Armed Refresher Course | Oregon Security Professionals
This one-day course will deliver not only the material required to qualify for recertification as an armed security professional in the state of Oregon, but also additional content on best practices and practical application based on the experience of our instructors in the field to optimize the performance of armed security professionals. Instruction begins with 4-hours in the classroom and transitions to the range for accuracy requalification.
Participants must be over the age of 21 and hold either a GED, high school diploma, other higher certification or degree.

Basic Certification | Armed Security Professionals
Our instructors reserve the right to refuse to allow completion of the qualifier for individuals who are assessed during the course or qualifier to be a safety risk to themselves or the public at their current level of physical skill or mental capability to provide the services of an armed security professional.
This class is a total of 24-hours of training delivered over three days. Two days will be classroom instruction. Classroom training materials will be provided by NWDA. The third day will be on the range demonstrating and honing skills before shooting the qualifier for state certification.

NWDA instructors reserve the right to dismiss or disallow any end-user from the course if they are deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.
Join NWDA and our top-tier instructors for a day on the range. Gathering beginners and seasoned marskmen alike, this monthly class is an open-format for all who are hungry to train. End-users will have the full support of NWDA instructors throughout the day in shooting, tactical safety considerations, and more.

Introduction to Handguns
Our introductory class will familiarize the end user with the fundamentals of responsible handgun ownership. By the end of this class we aim to provide the end user with the necessary knowledge and skills to be a safe and effective handgun owner. Individual coaching on the range to reinforce responsible and confident handgun utilization. This class meets the minimum requirements for an Oregon Concealed Handgun License.

Firearm maintenance
Optic and sight considerations
Handgun fundamentals
Ammunition and firearm storage
Marksmanship fundamentals
